Father's Day
Sunday, September 6th
Celebrate Dad this Father’s Day at Simon Tolley Cellar Door.
Bring the whole family along for a relaxed day in the Adelaide Hills — and yes, your four-legged family members are welcome too.
Enjoy beautiful vineyard views, a glass of wine, a cold Prancing Pony beer and quality time together while the kids (and the big kids!) enjoy a game of cornhole on the lawn.
We’ve invited the team from Baltic Food Truck to join us for the day, serving up delicious German-inspired favourites including hot dogs, cheesy toasties and chips with their famous German sausages.
To make your Father’s Day experience extra special, pre-book your wine tasting and choose a platter to enjoy on arrival.
We’ll have two sittings available:
11:00am – 1:30pm
2:00pm – 5:00pm
Gather the family, spoil Dad and enjoy a memorable day amongst the vines at Simon Tolley Cellar Door.
Bookings are essential. We look forward to welcoming you for a special Father’s Day celebration in the Adelaide Hills.

Chardonnay Deep Dive Tasting
Celebrate Chardonnay May at Simon Tolley Cellar Door!
Available now
Celebrate Chardonnay May at Simon Tolley Cellar Door with a Deep Dive Tasting designed to showcase why this varietal thrives in the Adelaide Hills. For $20 per person, this guided experience explores the nuance, diversity, and craftsmanship behind one of the region’s most beloved wines.
Throughout the tasting, you’ll learn about Chardonnay clones and how they influence flavour, texture, and structure. Our team will guide you through a curated selection of wines, each highlighting different expressions shaped by clone, site, and winemaking approach. It’s a rare opportunity to understand how subtle differences in vine genetics and vineyard conditions can create remarkably distinct styles.
The Adelaide Hills is renowned for producing elegant, balanced Chardonnay thanks to its cool climate. Crisp acidity, refined structure, and layered complexity are hallmarks of the region, and this tasting brings those qualities to life in the glass. Whether you enjoy fresh, mineral-driven styles or richer, more textured expressions, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for what makes these wines so special.
As part of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region’s Chardonnay May celebrations, don’t forget to bring your Chardonnay Trail passport and collect a stamp during your visit. It’s the perfect way to explore and experience the region.
Pinot and Pooch
Every third Sunday of the month
Enjoy a day out with the whole family and take your doggo to our cellar door for Pinot and Pooch. Every 3rd Sunday of the month we are celebrating all pooches by handing out free treats and there will be lots of pats from our cellar door staff.
At 2pm Simon will take everyone out for a walk around the vineyard, a perfect way to stretch your legs and learn a bit more about wine making! You can also book in for a wine tasting and there will be jaffles and local produce platters. It is a popular event, so make sure to book your table ahead of time.
