'24 Estate Range Sauvignon Blanc wins big during award season and here is why

It has been quite the month for our '24 Estate Range Sauvignon Blanc: not only is it featured in the Nick Ryan's 100 best wines of the year, but it also took home two trophies!

In September the wine took the top prize in its category at the Australian Cool Climate Awards. It is a great accolade for all the hard work that the viticulture team puts in our vines to produce the best quality grapes. A massive thank you to Adam and his team at Wicks Winery who put all their skills into making this premium wine.

A few weeks later we received the big honour to win the trophy for best sauvignon blanc at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show. This is nationally considered as the largest and most prestigious of all Australian wine shows and we are so proud that the judges selected our Sauvignon Blanc as the best in show with a generous 95 points.

Also senior wine writer for the Australian Nick Ryan praised the wine for it's notes of "passionfruit skin, guava, some tangelo and lime, with a suggestion of soft salad leaves tucked away neatly underneath." In his review he calls the wine "racy, vibrant and fresh, with just enough mid-palate texture to round it out," and he awarded the wine 93 points. He features the wine in the 20 best wines under $30 and we couldn't be more honoured!
